Delete your SnapVerbo account
This page explains how to request deletion of your SnapVerbo account and what happens to your data when you do.
How to delete your account
You can request account deletion directly from within the SnapVerbo app. This option is available for signed-in accounts.
Steps:
- Open SnapVerbo
- Go to Settings
- Select Privacy
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm the deletion request
Once confirmed, your account deletion request is processed automatically.
If you no longer have access to the app, you may also request deletion via the contact form.
Please include the email address associated with your SnapVerbo account.
What data is deleted
When your SnapVerbo account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account record and authentication credentials
- Synced vocabulary entries and saved text
- Associated images or thumbnails you chose to save
- Flashcard progress, collections, tags, and settings
- Any cloud-stored content linked to your account
This data is deleted from active systems and cannot be recovered.
What data may be retained temporarily
For operational and legal reasons, some limited data may be retained for a short period after account deletion:
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports
These are not linked to your identity and may be retained for up to 14 months in aggregated form for product improvement and stability analysis.
No retained data is used for advertising or profiling.
After deletion
- Your account can no longer be accessed
- Synced data is permanently removed
- You may continue to use SnapVerbo without an account, subject to app features
